How we use your details when you visit this website or our stores. Last updated 11 September 2026.
1. Who we are
i Repair Centre is the data controller for this website and our shops in Cirencester and Newmarket.
- Cirencester — 25 Cricklade Street, GL7 1HY — irepaircentre25@gmail.com — 07508 817277
- Newmarket — Unit 19, The Guineas, CB8 8EQ — irepaircentre19@gmail.com — 07923 938021
The store you pick on a form is the one that handles your enquiry.
2. What we collect
Only what we need to do the job:
- Name, phone, email and the store you chose
- Device details, fault description, and any message you send
- Booking date and time, if you book a repair
- Buy or sell details, such as model, condition and the item you asked about
- Technical logs our host needs to keep the site running (for example IP address and browser type)
We do not ask for card details on this website. Payment is in store.
3. Why we use it
- To reply to bookings, contact forms, buy and sell enquiries
- To confirm a job by email and, if you gave a mobile, by WhatsApp
- To tell the chosen store that a new enquiry has arrived
- To keep a job record and honour the warranty
- To keep the website secure
We rely on taking steps you have asked for (a quote, booking or sale), on our legitimate interest in running the shops, and on the law where we must keep records.
4. WhatsApp and email
If you submit a form with a mobile number, we may send a short confirmation on WhatsApp from that store’s business number, and a copy to the shop. Those messages go through Meta’s WhatsApp Business service. If you prefer email only, say so in your message or call the store.
Shop emails are sent from the mailbox of the store you picked.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your details. We only share them with:
- The i Repair Centre store handling your job
- Email and hosting providers that run this website
- Meta, if a WhatsApp confirmation is sent
- The police or a regulator if the law requires it
6. How long we keep it
Enquiry and booking records are kept for as long as we need them to finish the job and to deal with warranty questions — usually up to 12 months after the last contact, unless the law says we must keep them longer. You can ask us to delete a record sooner if we no longer need it.
7. Cookies
We use cookies that keep the site working (for example a session so a form can be sent). We also load fonts from Google Fonts. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; some parts of the site may then not work.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see the data we hold, have it corrected or deleted, restrict how we use it, or object to certain uses. To ask us to delete your records, use the data deletion request form. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
9. Children
This site is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect details from children under 16. If you think we have, please contact the store and we will remove them.
10. Ask us
Email the store you used, call, or use the contact form. For how we repair, buy and sell, see our terms of service.
