Terms of service
Simple rules for using this website and for repairs, buy and sell at our Cirencester and Newmarket stores. Last updated 11 September 2026.
1. Who we are
These terms are between you and i Repair Centre, operating from:
- 25 Cricklade Street, Cirencester GL7 1HY — 07508 817277 — irepaircentre25@gmail.com
- Unit 19, The Guineas, Newmarket CB8 8EQ — 07923 938021 — irepaircentre19@gmail.com
By using this website or handing us a device, you agree to these terms.
2. This website
The site is for information and to book a repair, send a sell or buy enquiry, or contact a store. Prices and stock shown online are a guide. The confirmed price is the one we give you in the shop after we have seen the device.
We may change pages, prices or these terms at any time. The version on this page is the current one.
3. Bookings and walk-ins
You can walk in or book online. A booking is a request, not a guaranteed slot until the store confirms it. Please bring the device, charger if relevant, and any passcode we need to test it. If you cancel, tell the store as soon as you can.
4. Repairs
We quote before we open the device. If we cannot repair it, diagnosis is free and you do not pay for our time. Once you accept a quote and we start work, that quote covers the agreed job only. Extra faults found later are quoted separately.
Parts are high-grade parts we would fit in our own devices. We tell you what is going in before we start. Turnaround is usually same day when the part is in stock. Some jobs, such as water damage or laptop work, can take longer.
Unlocking or data work may need proof that you own the device. We can refuse a job if we reasonably believe the device is stolen or if we cannot work safely.
Please collect promptly when we call. We may charge a small storage fee if a device is left for more than 30 days after we have asked you to collect it. After 90 days of no contact we may treat the device as abandoned.
5. Warranty
Most repairs include a 90-day warranty on the parts we fitted and the labour for that job. It is written on your ticket. It covers the same fault returning on the work we did, not accidental damage, liquid, a different fault, or wear and tear.
Devices we sell also carry a 90-day warranty as sold, unless we tell you otherwise at the counter. Bring the device and your receipt or ticket to the store that did the work. We will check it and, if the warranty applies, repair or replace the part we fitted. The warranty is not transferable unless we agree in writing.
6. Buying a device or accessory
Stock listed online is held for collection in store. There is no online checkout. An enquiry does not reserve an item until the store confirms it. Condition, storage and battery notes are as checked on the bench. Please inspect the item when you collect. If something is wrong, tell us before you leave.
7. Selling or trading in
Any figure we give online or by message is an estimate. The confirmed offer is after we have seen the device in the shop. We may reduce or withdraw an offer if the condition does not match what you described, if the device is locked, or if it fails our check. Payment is agreed in store. You confirm you own the device and that it is not stolen.
8. Payment
Payment is due when you collect a repair or buy an item, unless we agree otherwise. We accept the methods shown in store. Card refunds, where due, go back to the same card.
9. Liability
We take care of your device while it is with us. We are not responsible for data you have not backed up. Please copy photos and files before you leave a device with us. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
We are not liable for loss that we could not reasonably foresee, or for unlocking or software work that depends on the manufacturer or your account.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms: use the contact form, call the store, or WhatsApp the shop you used. See also our privacy policy.
